To try Voxily, install the Chrome extension, sign in, open a conversation on X, LinkedIn or Reddit, and generate one reply. Insert the draft into the comment box, edit it there, then decide whether to post. Free includes 10 reply generations per day; a paid subscription is optional.

Install, sign in and choose a conversation
Use the official Chrome Web Store listing in desktop Chrome. After installation, refresh the social tab so the Voxily controls can appear. Open the sidebar and sign in with the email you want to use for Voxily. This extension does not run inside the X, LinkedIn or Reddit mobile apps.

The writing-example onboarding has a Skip for now option if you want to try one draft before completing voice setup. For later replies, add your role, topics you know about, tone and writing examples you are comfortable sharing with Voxily. A persona guides the draft; it does not make every sentence accurate.

Generate, insert and edit one reply
Pick a conversation you have read and can contribute to. Leave the reply box empty for this first check so you can see exactly what Voxily inserts.
- Open the native reply or comment editor, then click its Voxily button. On Reddit, expand Join the conversation to open the full comment editor.
- Choose your persona and one of the eight standard moods, then generate. Free provides one reply draft. Pro can show three labeled options when 3 Reply Variations is enabled.
- Read the draft before inserting it. If you have Pro variations enabled, click the option you want or its Insert control. The draft should appear in the native comment box.
- Edit the inserted text in X, LinkedIn or Reddit. Check the full text in that comment box, then use the platform's own posting button only when you are satisfied. You can also clear the draft and leave without posting.

- 0–10 seconds: The Pro reply picker shows three options with “3 Reply Variations” enabled.
- 10–20 seconds: The selected draft reads, “How do you measure a developer’s speed at reducing uncertainty?” The maker edits it in X to, “What signals tell you the uncertainty is reduced enough to start building?”
- 20–26 seconds: The test draft is cleared from the composer. No reply is posted.
- 26–32 seconds: The closing card explains that Free includes 10 reply generations per day. You review and send any final reply yourself.
Check what the draft claims
Read the author's point again after generation. A draft can miss the context, repeat a claim that needs a source, or put experience into your voice that you never supplied. Saved writing examples do not remove that risk.
Remove a claim about your own customers, results or experience unless it is true and you want to share it. Check whether the author already answered the question you are about to ask. On Reddit, read the community rules and distinguish a required title label from what the author says in the post.
An illustrative edit: if a draft says "I've used this with my clients and it works," but you have not, discard that claim. A question such as "What changed after you tried it?" may fit, but only when the post leaves that question open. These sentences are teaching examples, not captured product output.
How to judge your first trial
A useful first trial ends with a reply you would be comfortable sending, after any needed edits. Check whether the draft responds to the specific post, says something you mean and avoids invented personal experience. If it takes more work than writing your own reply, note what went wrong rather than generating repeatedly. Try another relevant conversation on a later day before deciding whether the tool belongs in your routine.
Free and Pro for this first test
Free includes 10 reply generations per day, one persona and all eight standard moods. It also has separate daily allowances for post drafts, rewrites and Voxily Chat. You can test a reply and edit the inserted text without upgrading.
Pro adds three labeled reply variations when enabled, Custom mood, Brand Mode, DM Generator, and higher allowances. Those options are locked on Free and open the website pricing page when clicked. Three variations are optional; they are not needed to insert a reply.

If the reply does not appear
If you just installed or updated the extension, refresh the social page and reopen its comment editor. Confirm that Voxily is enabled in the same Chrome profile where you are testing. Check for a visible generation error before trying again.
On Pro, confirm that the sidebar shows Pro and that 3 Reply Variations is switched on if you expect three cards. If generation completes but insertion fails, keep the draft available and copy it into the editor yourself. Report the platform, whether the editor was a comment or a nested reply, and the error text to support@getvoxily.com. Leave sign-in codes and private account details out of the report.
Questions before your first reply
Do I need Pro to try Voxily?
No. Free includes 10 reply generations per day, one persona and eight standard moods. Sign in to use that allowance; upgrade only if you want the additional Pro options.
Why does the walkthrough show three replies when I see one?
The walkthrough was captured on Pro with 3 Reply Variations enabled. Free generates a single reply. Pro also uses a single draft when that setting is off.
Does clicking Insert post the comment?
Insert puts the text into the platform's comment box. You can edit or delete it there. Posting is a separate action you take on X, LinkedIn or Reddit.
Will the draft always understand the conversation?
No. Review the draft against the post, check its claims and remove anything that does not fit. If none of the drafts adds something useful, write your own reply or skip the conversation.
