Privacy Policy

Voxily is hosted software with a Chrome extension client. It is not a bring-your-own-key or local-only product. When you ask Voxily to generate content, relevant data is sent to Voxily services and AI infrastructure to create the draft.

1. What Voxily Does

Voxily is a Chrome extension that drafts replies, posts, and outreach text for X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Voxily does not auto-post, auto-send, auto-like, auto-follow, or take posting actions on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to post any generated draft.

2. Data We May Collect or Process

Depending on how you use the product, Voxily may collect or process:

Account data: authentication identifiers, email address when provided through sign-in or billing, subscription status, and support messages.
Extension identifiers: Chrome extension identifiers, installation or session identifiers, and basic technical data needed for auth, CORS, usage limits, and abuse prevention.
Social context: visible post, comment, thread, or page text needed to generate the draft you requested.
Draft inputs: text you type into a composer, selected mood, generation mode, persona, knowledge entries, voice examples, and prompt instructions.
Product data: personas, knowledge base entries, templates, community data, history, ratings, chat sessions, usage counters, analytics events, and settings.
Feedback you send: the message and category you submit from the extension Settings or the in-panel feedback prompt, plus basic context: the extension version, your plan, and how many drafts you have inserted. Feedback is stored with your account ID so we can improve Voxily.
Invite data: if you sign up through a getvoxily.com/r/ invite link or enter an invite code in the extension, a record that links your account to the account that shared it. See section 10.
Billing data: subscription plan, checkout status, payment status, customer identifiers, and webhook events from Polar. Voxily does not receive your full card number.
Local extension data: auth token cache, selected settings, and temporary client-side state stored by Chrome so the extension can work between sessions.

3. How Data Is Used

We use data to provide the product, generate AI drafts, remember your settings, enforce free and Pro usage limits, process billing, troubleshoot bugs, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

4. AI Processing

When you generate a draft, Voxily sends the necessary request data to its backend API, which currently routes AI generation through Groq. The request can include visible social context, your typed draft, selected mood, persona information, relevant knowledge entries, and generation instructions. AI-generated output can be inaccurate or inappropriate, so you must review it before use.

5. Service Providers

Voxily uses third-party providers to operate the service:

Convex: authentication-related flows and product data such as user records, personas, knowledge, history, usage, analytics, and subscription state.
Cloudflare Workers: hosted API layer, request handling, CORS enforcement, usage checks, and AI routing.
Groq: AI model inference used to generate draft content.
Polar: checkout, subscription billing, customer portal, payment status, and subscription webhooks.
Vercel: hosting for the public website and auth proxy routes.
Google Analytics: website and extension usage analytics, such as page views and product events, so we can understand acquisition, activation, and product reliability.
PostHog: pseudonymous product analytics (feature usage events tied to an internal account identifier, not your name or email) so we can see which features work and where users get stuck.
Google or other auth providers: sign-in flows when enabled.

6. What Voxily Does Not Do

Voxily does not sell your personal data.
Voxily does not store full payment card numbers.
Voxily does not auto-post, auto-send DMs, auto-like, auto-follow, or bulk-message people for you.
Voxily does not guarantee platform compliance or protection from account enforcement. You must follow the rules of each platform and community.

7. Local Browser Storage

The Chrome extension may store tokens, cache data, preferences, selected persona state, temporary drafts, or UI settings in browser storage. Local browser storage helps the extension work, but some product data is also synced through hosted services such as Convex.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data for as long as needed to provide Voxily, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. You can clear local extension data from Chrome. You can request deletion of account, persona, knowledge, history, or support-related data by emailing support@getvoxily.com. Some billing records may be retained by Polar or Voxily where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

9. DMs and Private Messages

Voxily never reads your inbox in the background and never sends messages for you. On X Messages, LinkedIn Messaging, and private chat windows over another page, including LinkedIn's messaging pop-up, Voxily does not send the conversation as post context. If you use Fix My Reply there, your own draft from the composer is sent with your persona, relevant knowledge, and tone settings. If you draft a DM in Voxily Chat, what you type or paste into the chat is used with your persona and relevant knowledge. You are responsible for reviewing and sending any message manually in compliance with platform rules.

10. Invite Links and Cookies

If you visit a getvoxily.com/r/<code> invite link, the website sets a first-party cookie named vx_ref that holds the invite code for up to 30 days. If you sign up during that time, the invite is attributed to the person who shared the link. Entering an invite code in the extension Settings works the same way. No reward is given to you or to the person who shared it. Invite data is not shared with third parties beyond the pseudonymous product analytics described in section 5, and it is never sold. You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings.

11. Security

We use hosted providers, authentication checks, extension allowlists, usage limits, and operational monitoring to protect the product. No internet service is perfectly secure. Do not enter sensitive personal, financial, health, legal, or confidential business data into Voxily unless you are comfortable with it being processed by the service providers described above.

12. Children

Voxily is not intended for children under 13 or for anyone not allowed to use the supported social platforms.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
